|Michigan Concrete has spent the last decade removing epoxy coatings that have chipped, flaked and failed. Customers have been opting for polished floors due to their durability and their quality. Unfortunately, polished floors cannot be used in every environment or circumstance.
The solution for the distrust in epoxy and the inability to use polish has led us to offer polyaspartic flooring. Polyaspartic coatings were introduced in the 1990's and used to coat metal due to the quick cure times and extreme flexibility.
Advancements in the ability to slow the reaction has made it possible to apply polyaspartic to concrete slabs, wood decks, and block walls.
Polyaspartic floors have greater penetration into the slabs (up to an 1/8”) and are much more durable than epoxy based floors.
